NLP in Covert Hypnosis

An Introduction to Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is an approach to psychological therapy based on "a model of interpersonal communication concerned with the relationship between successful behavioral patterns and subjective experiences underlying them" and "a system of alternative therapy based on this that aims to give knowledge to people in being aware of ones self and effective communication, and to modify their patterns in emotional and mental behavior".

It was founded by Richard Bandler and John Grinder(Linguist) in the 70's. Both Bandler and Grinder affirmed strongly that it is a good tool to help people live better, richer, and fuller lives.

The term Neuro-Linguistic Programming was created to emphasize:

Neuro — A connection between neurological processes

Linguistic — Language

Programming — Patterns of behavior learned through experience

NLP Works by Making Others Do Willingly What You Ask Them to Do

NLP greatly affects one's experience which most people is completely unaware of. It is very advantageous if you know how to make it work by being aware of it, and knowledgeable in using it. NLP experts know where and when to apply their skills and successfully convince people to act upon their commands and suggestions easily. This is the key to success of becoming an expert Neuro-Linguistic Programmer.

What is the connection of NLP to Covert Hypnosis?

NLP is one of the factors of Covert Hypnosis, which as described above is a process of communication. NLP contributes greatly to Covert Hypnosis or Conversational Hypnosis from the word "conversation" which is one way of a simple communication.

While NLP incorporates a huge amount of hypnosis in it (With the help of Milton Erickson), it is not another or a form of hypnosis. NLP tests the way a person thinks, and process information. It finds ways to intercept and modify this information to alter the persons experiences or or beliefs.

NLP is founded upon:

1. The Meta Model
2. The Milton Model

In Covert Hypnosis, NLP contributes the Milton Model since it focuses more on hypnosis.

A Self Help Home Study Course on Covert Hypnosis will definitely teach you more on how NLP works in Covert Hypnosis.
